They are never kept in cages and spend their days surrounded by love, attention, and everyday household activity. Every kitten develops at their own pace, but here's what you can expect during their first few months with us:

Weeks 1–2: A Safe and Loving Beginning

Our newborn kittens remain with their mother in a quiet, comfortable nursery where they receive constant care and nourishment. During these first weeks, we closely monitor each kitten's growth, weight, and overall health to ensure they are thriving.

Weeks 3–4: Discovering the World

As their eyes open and they begin taking their first steps, their personalities start to shine. We gently introduce daily handling, allowing each kitten to become comfortable with human interaction while continuing to spend time with their mother and littermates.

Weeks 5–7: Learning Through Play

This is an exciting stage as the kittens become playful, curious, and adventurous. They enjoy exploring, climbing, and interacting with toys while receiving daily affection and socialization. Growing up in our home allows them to become comfortable with normal household sights and sounds, helping them develop into confident, well-adjusted companions.

Weeks 7–9: Weaning and Litter Training

As they transition from nursing, we introduce a high-quality kitten diet while continuing to monitor their health and development. During this time, they also learn proper litter box habits and continue building important social skills with people and their littermates.

Weeks 9–12: Veterinary Care and Continued Socialization

Our kittens receive comprehensive veterinary care, including wellness exams, age-appropriate FVRCP vaccinations, routine deworming, and health monitoring. We continue daily handling and socialization so they are comfortable being held, groomed, and loved.

Weeks 12–14: Preparing for Their Forever Homes

By the time our kittens are ready to leave for their forever families, they are confident, affectionate, litter trained, and well-socialized. Each kitten goes home with:

• Age-appropriate vaccinations

• Routine deworming

• A complete veterinary health examination

• Health records

• A written health guarantee

• Lifetime breeder support

We take great care in matching each kitten with the right family and are always available to answer questions before and after adoption. Our commitment doesn't end when your kitten goes home—we're here for the lifetime of your Ragdoll.

Because every kitten is unique, some developmental milestones may vary slightly. We allow each kitten to mature at their own pace while providing the love, care, and attention they deserve every step of the way.

To reserve a kitten, we require a $300 non-refundable deposit to join our waiting list. Families choose their kitten in the order deposits are received.

Kittens are typically selected around 7–8 weeks of age, after their first veterinary exam and first FVRCP vaccination.

Our kittens are ready to join their new families at 12 weeks of age. This allows them plenty of time to socialize, develop properly, and receive the best start in life..

Yes! Our kittens are eligible for TICA registration. Registration paperwork is provided after proof of spay or neuter, as outlined in our purchase agreement.

Never. Our cats and kittens are raised cage-free in our home where they receive daily love, attention, and socialization.

For families who are unable to pick up their kitten in person, we work with a trusted and experienced flight nanny who specializes in safely transporting kittens to their new families. Your kitten travels in the cabin with the flight nanny—not in cargo—and receives personalized care and attention throughout the entire journey.

We have carefully chosen a flight nanny with an excellent reputation for professionalism, reliability, and compassionate care. Their top priority is ensuring your kitten arrives safely, comfortably, and with as little stress as possible.

Yes! Ragdolls are known for their gentle, affectionate personalities. When introduced properly, they typically do very well with children, dogs, and other cats.

Yes. We require our kittens to be indoor-only pets to help keep them safe and healthy.

You’re never on your own! We offer lifetime support and are always happy to answer questions about your kitten.

No. At this time, Purrrfect Ragdolls only places pet kittens in loving homes

We accept Zelle and Venmo (Friends & Family only; not Goods & Services) for reservation deposits.

For the remaining balance, we prefer cash at the time of pickup. Many of our families choose to make payments while waiting for their kitten to be ready to go home, and we are happy to accept those payments along the way.

If you need to pay your remaining balance through Venmo, please reach out to us in advance. We're happy to work with you to make the payment process as easy and convenient as possible.

All balances must be paid in full before or at the time your kitten goes home.
